Namaste Everyone,

today I have explored the fine pure lines of this crane bird done Japanese style, line oriented, feathers reminiscent of some geometric patterns.

Cranes are symbols for longevity, they are apparently monogamous and could be the tallest flying birds.

Their elegance is undeniable..a perfect subject to have on the skin.

Today we have completed most of the inner top arm, carrying on this chakras/patterns sleeve, a lovely project involving the human chakras system( the 7 main ones as they are 12!!) interlaced with geometry.

We inserted the all seeing eye which can also be the inner eye watching beyond what the normal eyes see…transcending…one of my favorite subject.

hello Lovelies,

 

Here is a not so common project I enjoyed doing, a /nebulae cluster, the Horse Head Nebula, in the constellation of Orion!

It took us a few sessions as I was working in layers, like a painting, so again with the great patience of my 5 stars client we could achieve this great work easily with Joy!!

Here is a project that was very enjoyable indeed,

Ornamenting a side of my beautiful friend with some magical swirls influenced by eastern flowery ornate designs, I call it mystical as they are truly magical.

It was very much of a free hand style adventure as being organic and flowy and non- symmetrical  that technique of drawing by hand is the most suitable and enjoyable.

Hello Beautiful People,

 

Here is a sleeve that took some times to execute considering the level of details  and intricacy and I enjoyed every bits of it.

The themes given to me were The Macrocosm, the animal world, Alchemy, the connection of things in this existence, and so I came up with this composition interlacing SacredGeometry and some Escher-inspired tessellation made of birds.

Another one of my favorite themes, mixing geometry and more organic shapes features here

and  I m always enthusiastic creating such a world given the freedom of designing I had in this instance.

Good day to you all People,

 

here is a piece I ve particularly enjoyed as it is very ornamental and a lots of it have been drawn free hand to fit the arm, being more organic than sacred geometry, Thai ornamental is a very pleasurable experience to draw on the skin, this is not exactly finished but the outcome is already eye pleasing.

here is a project I really enjoyed doing very much,

We had three days in a row to fill up an arm as much as we could with some intricate sacred geometry, a bare arm to wrap in fine harmonious shapes!

Marlena is a tough cookie as she underwent three days of planning and designing and needle work and she did brilliantly, I m also not heavy handed and dot work is always more gentle than lining so she had long cruising times as well.

Good day to you People.

Today I ve tattooed the lovely Uli and her ideas were to have the word “Santosha” which is Sanskrit for Contentment next to a sun and moon, through thick and thin, in all circumstances, along an infinity symbol leading to a Hamsa(one of my favorite theme to tattoo) standing for non violence.

What a beautiful message in this black work tattoo.

I consider tattooists the shamans of our society, we not only mark bodies with ink but we also “heal” and connect with people.

Good day to you people,

 

Today we were dealing with geometry Vs organic -mandala -temple shaped forms,

one of my favorite theme on the skin.

Tattooing geometry/ patterns ( male) complemented with curves, organic shapes (female)

is the ultimate union of opposites and works really well, the philosopher stone of tattooing….who knows ??

The project is still in progress and the other side of the forearm (not shown on the picture) is where the actual cover up takes place, it s not yet accomplished fully so I hide the photo from your beautiful eyes until it is fully done!
